I Don't Have Any Motivation To Do Well In My Career.

Now that my hair has become a complete sh*t, I don't have any motivation to do well in my career. Like, I feel like I'll still be leading a miserable life no matter how hard I try to promote myself. I don't see the point in doing all the work after which I'll still be living a recluse sad life.

Has any of you been in this position or is it just me trying to run away from my responsibilities?

If that's the case then you were not in the right career anyways. A good career is not something that simply pays the bills, but something you can enjoy doing. Sounds preachy, but if you don't enjoy doing your work then you are never going to succeed in your career anyways. A bald man that enjoys his job will still at least get some pleasure for doing it, even as a bald man.

My hair looks sh*t right now but i'm doing phenomenal in my career - i'm a workaholic because i enjoy my job, but if anything it helps me cope with the issues i have, not the other way around. If i hated my job and was just doing it for money then yeh, it would suck and then hairloss would probably affect me to the same degree. Only exception to what i'm saying here is a career in entertainment... then yeh, hairloss fucks you up.

I am fairly certain that, if I had the guarantee of no legal repercussions, I would exchange my moral integrity and conscience by committing crimes for a full head of hair.
I would absolutely sacrifice all my personal belongings and every material thing I have dear for a life of hair.
I would become diabetic, coeliac or severely allergic to some common food just to have a full head back.
I would even get ill with some very dangerous illness just to get the hair back.
I am willing to give up almost anything for getting my hair back forever.

I enjoy my job, and because I enjoy my job, I made a career out of it, and said career has allowed me to pay my bills and live very comfortably. Therefore I can both pay the bills and enjoy my job - it's not a fantasy, it happens if you make it a criteria to do something you like. If you like it it is more likely you will be good at it, which means you are more likely to move up in the corporate ladder.

You're lucky. You're also right. Liking your job is a massive advantage in climbing up the corporate ladder. Most of us however are at best meh about our jobs.
