Guys I feel soooooo tired I can't function properly, I've taken only 3 pills so far, I don't feel like having sex and I wish I could sleep whole day. Will it pass or should I quit?
I noticed a bit of fatigue initially, but i'm not entirely sure if it was psychosomatic or not. It went away in a couple weeks. This isn't a very common complaint, so it might be unrelated.
I suffer from bad fatigue/lethargy, and have thought that finasteride might be the culprit (after all, it does suppress a powerful male hormone).
But there are several other factors that could be responsible for my tiredness all the time (lifestyle factors, other medical conditions I have etc..) so I can't 100% pin the blame on Finasteride. I've resigned to the fact that I'd rather have hair and be chronically tired than vice versa.
I'm also considering to ask my doctor if he'll prescribe any stimulant meds (like Adderall)
as for the OP of this thread, you've only taken 3 pills, so your tiredness is unlikely related to finasteride. Although sides are more common when you first start and usually go away in time
3 pills does not equal a sample size yet. There are too many things that could affect your body and your fatigue level over the course of 3 days.
Although, you might try dosing at .5mg (half a pill) for the first few months so your body can get accustomed to a lower amount of the drug. I was on it at .5mg for 3 years and still had good success.
Jesus Christ dude....again, there's almost literally no way that your libido could be killed after only 4 days. It takes longer than that for your body to even realize that there's a change happening to your hormones. What's going on is that you're TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING WRONG! You're too busy obsessing about "Oh ****....WHAT COULD BE WRONG!?!?!!!?!?!?!?" Of course you're not horny right now, you're too worried about other things to think about sex!!
You know what kills my libido? Being tired. Being stressed. Eating too much food. Being too hungry. Having sore legs after leg day at the gym, etc etc etc.
But, it's obvious that you're right, you shouldn't take finasteride. Why not? Because you worry too much, and you'll convince yourself that you have side effects at the drop of a hat. "Oh no, I feel 1% more tired today than I did yesterday.....IS IT THE finasteride THAT'S MAKING ME FEEL THIS WAY!?!??!!?"
