How to be happy like her? Almost bald at 19 makes me depressed, ruined my teenage years and currently ruins my young adult life

I no longer go out of my room except to go to university.

So every day I see people of my age, happy with their girlfriends, friends and there is me beside who envies them. The physique especially in the current generation is essential, which girl will present to these parents or friends a bald guy when she is not in her twenties?

I was cursed, it's not possible, I tried everything, whether it was fina / minoxidil / shampoo / scalp massage.

But no nothing works, I was cursed.

Hair is almost everything on a face and not having hair will make 99% of guys ugly, affect self-confidence, sink into depression and there is no silver lining I know every day I am losing my hair and every day my hair will be worse than the day before ..

Thank you for your answer, that's what I thought, wearing a hair system, I had done all the legwork but when I spoke to my parents, they told me that I was crazy for wanting to put on a wig. Lol, they said again it was nothing and that I still have a ton of hair.

On the other hand, they told me that without worries he would pay me for a hair transplant if I wanted, do you think that is a good idea?

A transplant is not an option considering your age. The most important thing is to stay on finasteride. Also, there is a really promising group buy happening right now, you can read about it in the prolactin antibody thread in the research section.

Finally, do not listen to your parents. They know nothing. A hairsystem is a viable option, but first: try harder to save your hair.

I just showed the video here is the reaction: "no but I am traumatized that you ask me that you are not going to wear a wig anyway. My only solution is the transplant, even if I have to resort to several transplants in my life c It's okay, I just want to be able to live my young adult life normally. Even if it's only 2-3 years it's enough for me.

No ethical/legit hair transplant surgeon would work on you at 19 years old. I almost guarantee you that if you found a legit salon/studio that does hair systems, it would be costly but legit no one would ever know. You just go over there once a month like you would for a haircut and they style/reapply.

Lastly, I know hairloss sucks and it can seem like the end of the world, but I promise you it's not. Not only did I start thinning at 17/18, but a good friend of mine was exactly where you are, shaved it to a 0 when he was 21-22 and we were finishing university. He's had legitimately zero problems with girls the entire time I've known him, gotten more then I have through our single/pickup days (with me looking like a full head of hair) and now we're 27/28 and he's engaged to a gorgeous girl. It's corny as all hell but confidence & accepting who you are is the key. That type of attitude is what people are attracted to. Also, everyone hates the "just shave it bro" around here, but if legitimately nothing is helping you treatment wise, you should go for the cleaner look eventually. Girls will go for a bald guy a lot easier then they will for a guy with a messy & obvious comb over.

You tried minoxidil + needling?

edit: If you already tried this then I doubt anything besides the "tranny regimen" will save you, but if you value your manlihood and general health I don't advise to go that route...

Your only option left in that case is a hair system and they look great these days, more young guys wear them these days too. You'll have to get over the social stigma (and I have the feeling a hair system is getting more socially accepted...) but that's it.

The only issue I have with these is my curiosity of what they look like without the professional styling lol. I can't imagine you wake up with bed head and style it yourself to looking that legit.

I understand the reluctance for the transplant but I must try. I think I do what my parents think, try to do everything to get my hair back (drugs, transplants) and as a last resort the hair system.

I already tried to shave my head a few months ago, I looked like nothing and I was laughed at, this is where I fell into a big depression.
It's really hard to wake up in the morning, I really feel like the "weird" guy, the guy who is half bald who is the thing every man dreads.
Besides seeing people my age outside enjoying, having parties and I don't have access to everything just because of my hair. It's like his but it's complicated ..

Sorry, brother. I truly feel your pain. I felt the exact same way when I noticed my baldness. Currently, just do minoxidil, needling, and massages. I'm like a hyper responder to minoxidil and have found a hairstyle that makes me look full-head and frames my face pretty well. Just make sure you give treatments some time and I pray one works for you consistently so you can buy yourself some time with hair as I am currently doing.

thanks guys for giving strength. I hear you two talking about "microneeding with minoxidil" What is it? I want to try it is necessary to buy a 1.5mm dermaroller? Do you have to pass the dermaroller before putting on the minoxidil or after putting on the minoxidil?

Of course, man. As much as I wish we weren't going through this sh*t, we are and we are in it together. I'm no expert on microneedling but I pass a 1.5mm roller on my scalp once a week and I usually just stop when I feel like it, but I wait at least a day before applying minoxidil again. I would recommend watching some videos on the topic.

Oral min, topical dutasteride (keep using the oral finasteride if you don’t have sides), and microneedle. If that doesn’t improve things in six months, add CB or RU. In another 6 months if it’s not improved, consider topical estrogen. And if even then there’s no improvement or maintenance, you either have to shave or get a hair system. Or if you want to, feminize yourself with oral anti androgens

You guys give me some hope, it's the only thing that keeps me going, thinking that the future will be better.

If not for you too, is there a strong correlation between loneliness and losing that hair?
I know that tomorrow I will have to get up, go to study and feel bad seeing all these people laughing among themselves while I face the eyes of others with insecurity and anxiety?

I got to a point where when someone talks to me face to face I am uncomfortable because they all throw glances at my head ...

lol my young adult life was ruined by this sh*t

I have also been taking finasteride for 5 months.

I would be ready to get into the fina / duta combo but I don't know where to get the duta
Do not really waste your time with minoxidil without finasteride. You will be elated at your initial gains, only to see them fade over time without an anti-androgen.

It all depends on how you respond to it really. The mechanism is not fully understood to this day, but I have seen stories and know someone who has basically maintained for 15+ years

Stop telling a none sense. I started to use it in 1998 ( minoxidil plus tretinoin ) only regret that I didn't started before, use it every single night since then and keep all the hair since then. Stop the bushit of " it will stop working, cause minoxidil don't stop the hair loss cause " . There is not even prove on exactly how minoxidil works. So How the hell do you know ?! DHT only started a cascade of events of many reactions that end with male pattern baldness . Any reaction you stop there , will stop hair loss. In fact , future treatments will not even touch DHT .

Well, Hair system is a pain in the ***, he will have to deal with a lot of maintenance, paranoia, etc. If he put all the time and money on any other thing, will have better results in his life . I can't imagine having sex with a girl and have that in the scalp with the fear that it might fall out, etc. I don't thing any girl will prefer a wig over a shave look.

This guy has aggressive male pattern baldness, minoxidil alone is highly unlikely to work in such cases.

Show pictures of your hair and we can assess if yours is aggressive or not. Im just trying to help the guy and not have him regret not getting on finasteride sooner. He mentioned he is already on it so it is a moot point regardless.

Wait 12-18 months on finasteride before anything else.

Remember, finasteride is unlikely to regrow hair alone. It is the combination of minoxidil and finasteride that usually works best.
