I Have Been Using Propecia (1mg) For 5 Months

Hi all, i have been using Propecia (1mg) for 5 months but my hair still falling out ! however i can see some thickness and my hair becomes darker (even my barber noticed that). But every time i shower a good amount of hair falls out especially when I Styling my hair (with hair products) -my hands covered with hair !. I know it takes time to see results, but 5 months without stopping hair to fall out, is it normal ?

Give it a year, if still not maintaining or getting any regrowth switch to dutasteride, give that a year, that will give maintenance for the vast majority of people, but if you are not getting regrowth add minoxidil, either topical or low dose oral. Pics would be good.

You will always lose hair - its part of the natural cycle. If your hair is darkening and you see regrowth / thickening then thats a good sign.
