So about 10 years ago when I was hitting night clubs and pubs on a frequent basis,a friend of a friend would call out my hair loss directly to my face. I remember one comment said so everyone could hear was
"Have you lost more hair than the last time I saw you?".

Basically every time we came face to face he would have a verbal sarcastic sledge at me.

One time He dragged a Norwood 6 fully shaved bloke next to me and pointed to his head and said "I would rather look like him than have your hair".

He also said my hairstyle is terrible. I had a side part.. He said to me "Change your hair style only 5 year old kids sitting on santas lap have their hair like you".

I was devastated and left the situation each time.I retreated a lot and have never gone out with the same crowd again.

Fast forward 10 years and a few Fue procedures down the track and my hair has improved a lot. I'm comfortable with myself again..

So the mutual friend I share with the hair bully is having his bucks party tomorrow and the Hair bully will be there.

Even though I'm happy with my hair today this bloke is likely to find the smallest hair out of place and start again.

If I go and he starts the bulling I'm thinking of standing up to him and seeeing if wants to sort this out in the car park..

I might not even go along to the function..

What do guys reckon I should do attend and stand right up to him? Or just refuse to go?

Go to the event. For all you know he is now a Norwood 7 with a massive beer belly and gyno.

That's the problem. This bully has a very good head of hair. He used to gel it up into a spiky hairstyle he had lots of hair. I'm pretty confident he will still have good hair unfortunately.

I've been to "carnivals" where I've been roasted about my hair, even when I was full head. (This is the
game where people try to have you hit the target, to dunk them). Back then, being a long hair, it was
"I'll pay for a free haircut".

Now its "I will pay for a free "Hair Club for men ticket".

It's really not a big of a deal. Sorry. People need to have thicker skin.

If that bothers someone, when they REALLY BECOME OLD AND UGLY, they're going to be suicidal at that
point.

I can see your point. If this bully had only sledged me to my face I would have been able to handle the situation better and as you say grow a thicker skin, but he would always deliver his sledging when the most people were present like a group of 5 or 6 people standing at a table. That's when he crossed the line in my book.

Look I understand what you're saying, I do. There is inappropriate, and then really inappropriate. My boss is an a**h**. Sometimes he does it to cover his mistakes, sometimes it's because of his personality (a**h** DNA).

There's always going to be assholes though. And if we have to work and pay bills, or go outside, that's just the way it is.

Remember, if we're not "drunk" enough at a party, "accidents" can always happen. It's amazing how your reflexes could react, if say,
you got your car near him.

Just blame it on the alchohol.

What are your respective ages before and now? Have you seen recent pics of him on Facebook or something? In my late 20's some people I graduated high school with are already looking quite rough. For all you know he might look like sh*t at this point

The Bully is about 40 now. The bullying happened in our late 20's early 30's.

Can you find any recent pics on social media to see how he looks now?

If you stood up to him amd took it into the carpark I would ne so proud of you.
Seriously.. its all some morons understand; a good smack im the mouth amd you'd be surprised how quickly these confident loud mouths shut up.

At least draw a line in tje sand and let him know that goimg outside is a real option if he persists im calling you out.

Good luck, mate.

If you will want to start a fight people will think you are overreacting... Find his kryptonite and destroy him verbally in front of others. Don´t be passive. Hard to suggest something when we dont know how he looks. Still give him immediately a nickname like: Shrek, Pinocchio, Mr.Pickle etc.

If I'm reading this correctly you're around 40 years old now, and your hair looks better now than 10 years ago. What's there to make fun off? There are probably various guys attending with worse hair than you.

Yes I'm in a much better place now. I'm ready to take him on now. I should have done it years ago.

Victim is a bit harsh. It over 10 years ago. I challenge you to be on the receiving end of the barrage of sledging i coped and see how you would go.

I don't offend you, the whole situation is just ridiculous

This is typical animal behavior, the bully is merely trying to assert himself as the alpha in the group by knocking other males down verbally.

The only option you have is to attack him verbally in the same jokingly/passive aggressive way to reach a balance and so that he learns that you are also able to lower his status. It's a game of acting like what he is saying doesn't bother you while making comments that undermine him public. Whoever breaks and resorts to violence first is the one that loses. Being able to kick his *** if he takes it to that level is important.

I happen to be very good at verbally undermining other people. It's a fine art of veiled insults that make them second guess themselves. You shouldn't abuse this approach because you will turn into an a**h**, but it's very useful to balance out this type of situation.

Long story short, find the top 3 flaws (physical or otherwise) he has and remind him you are aware of them with snarky comments.
