Is that a good title for a thread? It should actually be euros since I am in Europe and so are many others, but dollars sounds better. Anyway let's get this going.
I was on here yesterday for the first time in yonks, just reading through some of the threads, you know yourself, and I came across a very darksome thread. I mean, it was enough to give anyone a lifelong bout of misery so bad that they'd never leave their bed again. I won't name the person who created it. They know who they are, and they should win award for the melocholiest thread ever. I think "melocholiest" is a word.. let me check... no it is not, so we will just say morbid. It was one bleak, morbid bastard of a thread. But it did get me thinking.
The thread in question was posing the deep dilemna of whether or not it would be understandable to take one's own life because of hair loss. I even watched the 20 minute video attatched, which was basically saying if your face isn't absolutely and symetrically perfect you have no chance of ever getting an attractive woman into bed. I have two words: Action Bronson!
What does that mean? Well, he's an American rapper who I recently discovered and the way I discovered him was by playing UFC 2 on ps4 which has one of his tracks on its soundtrack. One hell of a track at that. He is 350 to 400 pounds, bald, not at all what people might call pretty, but he has a youtube series that films his life and in them girls are flocking around him like birds to bread and basically begging him to bed them. Maybe they are paid off, maybe as soon as the camera stops rolling they are told, "Thanks for acting like the world's biggest sl*t - here's $20." But I like to think I can tell a genuine reaction when I see one... So let's get to the grand point:
You got to have style, class, talent, and know what you want. Don't just worry about what girls think of you, but guys too. Action Bronson walked into a New York butcher shop and some Italion guy came up to him feeling his expensive coat and saying "Look at this guy," still feeling his expensive coat, "You're going the wrong way," the Italion guy laughed, and Action Bronson responded, "I'm going the right way my friend." And he sure is, and I think we should follow.
So, you see, people, it ain't all about looks. Not giving a sh*t what anyone thinks of you and having a talent and a passion go a long way in all aspects of life. If anyone doesn't know Action Bronson I advise you check him out. This guy is on the level. I'll leave you with some of his lyrics:
"You know I got my hoodie on,
And it's such a hot night,
I'm coming straight from Queens,
Catch me in the limo
Like it's prom night."
