make a long story short, i buzzed my head with a #1 early last week and much to my surpise I had a horseshoe pattern. With my hair grown out, I had a receding hairline and a little thinning at the crown. My hair has grown out to be around a #2 guard length. What can be done to disguise the horseshoe pattern even a little? Can I shave the back a little to even out everything? Hats are getting annoying and I hope it grows back within a week or two so I can get it cut normal again! Thanks in advance for help!

Take MSM capsules from health store, use toppik, Dermatch etc

Post pic so we can see as you may be fretting over nothing...

2 guard is just long enough for a concealer to work, many people recommend Toppik or Nanogen, I personally use Nanogen & DermMatch, a little practice and it looks great, please do post pics tho, people on here are very supportive, and often can help with a little more info

I keep my hair a #4 on top and a #2 on the sides and back. I then use Dermatch on the top. It makes me look like my hair is all the same length.

With Dermatch, there's no shine at all. The hardest part for me is not applying too much. Apply too much and you look like you're wearing a helmet, people know something wierd is going on. With hair as short as mine, there needs to be *some* scalp visible.
