I am using folligen lotion on my hair in hopes it will help my hair, but I have been using for 6 months and the results are negligible. Anyways the only real reason I like it is because I put it on in the morning and it dries pretty quickly and it acts like a really light gel that when it dries I comb thru it and it makes my hair look softer, nicer and more manageable while dry. But I have to quit it since It is soo damn expensive for such a little tube they give me, like 20 dollars pero 2 oz tube or something like that.

What other products can I use that can have a similar effect for hair management?

Hopefully something that doesn't hurt hair or is maybe beneficial to it.

I was reading the reviews on it and 3 people said that it made their hair fall out... Have you experienced any abnormal resutls like these?

http://www.folica.com/Tricomin_Follic_d90.html

Male Pattern Baldness made their hair fall out.....I highly doubt it was the Tricomin. I love the stuff....can't say if it works but it sure makes my hair and scalp feel great.

Regarding Tricomin Follicle Therapy Spray:
I ONLY use it on my crown because I am convinced it excellerated my hairline loss, and I've read that others have had the same experience.

folligen slowed my shedding considerably.

Shedmaster, did Folligen make you shed a little bit when you first started using it?

I know it's a potent treatment, so I think that shedding is probably inevitable with this treatment.

I've been shedding the last two months, and have been using Folligen for the last month. It feels great on the scalp.

No, not really at all. the only thing I can think of is when I apply some topicals it appears that there is more hair being shed as the result of the shed hairs in your hands. Of course those hairs were DOA to begin with so the topical can not be to blame.

Perhaps I am being overzealous, but it really appeared to me that my shedding majorly decreased in the 1st couple weeks. I was really experiencing a fit of scalp irritation, itching and excessive shedding that I hadn't had in years that shampoos wouldnt help. So I ordered folligen it completely stopped it in its tracks. For this reason mainly I have really been plugging folligen as of late.

I still remember when I 1st started minoxidil.. now that was a hell of a shed!
