oh god, I've just applied peppermint oil to my scalp. 100% pure and it is very cold and tingly. I'm an idiot because it says.

Never apply neat oils to the skin, always dilute in a carrier oil

This wont cause permanent damage will it?

Someone reply really fast, cuz I am worrying so much about this.

Do other people usually apply 100% pure peppermint oil to their scalp? I think I used a bit too much, and because it is late I may sleep with in, do you reckon that'll be alright?

Always buy a carrier oil....

some folks just put a few droplets in their shampoo too.

Oops. I've done that too, but with tea tree (never again!). Not to worry, your scalp will recover.

Try it with Emu. Emu closely resembles our own skin oils and has dht and anti-inflammatory properties to boot
