I need help to determine if I am balding

I am a 20 year old guy that just today have been told by my hair dresser that I am beginning to loose my hair. When I was 17 my hair my temples started to go up a bit but have stayed the same for almost 4 years now. I was wondering that if someone could be so kind and look at my pictures and tell me if I am really balding or if the hairdresser made a mistake. Cheers!

Hairloss isn't always that simple. It could be another 10 years before you see a notable difference. In your case though I highly doubt that as you look to have some diffusion already.. take some sort of med if you want any chance at maintaining what you've got as you're only 20 years old and in quite a bad position from the looks of things.

It likely has decreased but you aren’t able to detect it. By the time you notice miniaturization nearly half the hair is lost already. Looks like you have thinning in the vertex and possibly crown. What is your family history of baldness?
