Ok, this is what has happened to me in the past few months.
I went on finasteride in January and relative success.
My hair has been steady, and the crown has improved. I have terminal hairs where there wasn’t before.
Then I want to the Philippines on business this May. I was always shedding steady…nothing too serious. After I arrived my shed picked up. Then for no reason my anxiety kicked in. One of the affects my anxiety has on me is my blood vessels close up in certain areas and I get pins and needles easily. I.e., hands, feet and scalp.
So when I sleep EVERY night, my head goes numb and my scalp goes numb. My hair is falling out like crazy. I am losing 200-300 hairs a day for the past 2.5 months. During the day my head itches and burns like a b**ch!!
I am going home in a month time and will get on my anxiety med so it will go, but I pray the damage is not permanent and in three months time the hair will grow back the same.
