i started taking rogaine about 6 weeks ago, i applied it on my frontal receeding line. i used it about 3 days..til i started feeling real dizzy, eyes were itchy!, itchy scalp, headaches, and also i see some redness on the receeding line area.

now the itchyness of the eyes stopped but im still getting all the other sideeffects...every day :(

i didnt realize it was the rogaine i used until now. i went to the DR and got a ct scan and he didnt find anything wrong. is there any home remedies to fight this? or do i need to go to the dr to be treated?

if it matters im 29

I'm afraid ya might just have to stop using it. The instructions that come with Rogaine state clearly to stop using it if you get sides. If you don't you could f*** yourself up badly.

If you're using the 5% stuff you could always try the weaker 2% formula and see if the sides still persist.

Could just be the propylene glycol in it?

Perhaps try a minoxidil product without it, like I believe nanominox, but I'm sure there are others.

I've had more wrinkles on my forehead from minoxidil (which sucks, of course) but nothing else.

Minoxidil was originally approved to treat high blood pressure. Side effects are unusual but Regaine should not be used by people with a history of heart problems, sudden weight gain, chest pains, fainting, or rapid heartbeat. So, you can apply natural remedies like matthew gardson's method. Especially pay attention to mustard masks and pepper tincture. It's not so difficult, most importantly - do not overdo with concentration
