and its the thing that makes it the worst. bald men are perceived as less aggressive and threatening, which i feel might have something to do with them being perceived as less attractive.
however that's a good thing sometimes! i was walking around at 3 am and got to thinking about the whole police controversy with black lives matter. how it all comes down to judging someone's looks. if the police had seen me with hair they wuda seen a young guy, which of course is the demographic that commits the most crime.
but now that police see me bald, i bet they profile me as far less likely to commit a crime than your average guy with hair, because i look older.
i've heard it as a hypothesis for why it evolved, because it signals your friendliness so more likely to be accepted into groups and such.
