If, And This Is A Big "if" Pilofocus Yields Quality Donor Regeneration Will We Still Wait For Tsuji?

Tsuji's treatment could result in a perfect full head of hair that can grows out long exactly like it used to.

If Pilofocus yields quality donor regeneration then it could give us excellent coverage but the hairs could be close copies of our donor hair. That would be OK for people who have straight hair all over but for people like me with wavy curly hair it's a totally different situation. And for all of us, since Pilofocus involves the entire follicles being artificially implanted throughout the recipient area of our heads, the angle and direction of each hair likely won't be as harmonious as nature did it.

I don't think I would be able to achieve the same look I used to have if I end up with close copies of my donor hair all over my entire head artificially implanted as full follicles.

I have wavy hair with some partial curling. If you look at the pic I posted of myself you'll see my bangs curl at the ends at about eyebrow length. The wave and curl of my hair is different in different areas of my head. I think Pilofocus would be better for people with straight hair.

But Pilofocus is winding down phase 3 studies so it should hit the marketplace next year. If Pilofocus achieves quality donor regeneration I'll have a tough decision to make:

1) Get Pilofocus very soon and look somewhat better with a fuller head of hair but it won't look nearly as good as it used to before this crap started.

2) Wait 2 years longer for Tsuji's treatment that may never come. But if Tsuji treatment does come it could make my hair look exactly like it did before this crap started.

News update - Koyreca won't even release pictures until 2018. So, the wait will be ... the wait.

I think 'the Cure will come out in 2 years' has been uttered a billion times since the 1930s when snake oils began to be marketed.

We all know how male pattern baldness works. Only way to address it by meddling with hormones and receptors. Circulation treatment like minoxidil are effective but they don't address the cause.

Minoxidil was discovered in the 50s, then marketed as hair loss treatment in the 80s. Finasteride began to be sold in 1mg in the 90s. Absolutely nothing came out in the 2000s. Nothing will come out in the 2010s. Maybe by the mid 2020s something comes out.

This means anyone who is experiencing hair loss now has two options or 30k transplants. No hope in science, only hope the treatments work and the transplants hold on.

You'be been fed lies and false hopes. Have faith instead if you are religious.

I can see the cure coming out by 2020, being available in the market for purchase.

All though I can see the solution coming sooner for those willing to travel internationally to the place of origin. As for North America, awhile away.

So true. North America, hopefully in our lifetime. It's been far too long.

Hope you're wrong, but think you could be right. 'The cure will come out in 2 years' was being uttered all the time when I started reading the hair loss boards in the early/mid 2000's. Personally, I think our best hope could be the development of viable artificial hair.

Wouldn't work since it would be rejected by our body.
