If finasteride doesn't work..

My hair is getting worse on finasteride....should I switch to dutasteride....or will it get even worse?

6 month is a low point. It gets better from there... or so Ive read on the internet... so it must be true.

How sure are you ? One side of my head was thicker than the other before propecia and now its universally diffuse and it's becoming difficult to hide. There is a visible diffuse cowlick near my left temple. Is this what your supposed to experience...is that what shedding is defined as?

You need to give finasteride at least a year to judge its success (or lack thereof). Remember to take pics.

Based on the charts on hair count, 6 months is about half way there. You should notice something. There are individual variations on this of course...
