...It would be not to take this poison. Finasteride is bullshit. I noticed slow hairloss around 8 months ago, so hopped on 1mg daily as though it was some sugar pill. within 2 weeks it seemed every hair on my head thinned dramatically. My thick density literally disappeared in this time, and my body hair has increased. Whenever I run my hands through my hair, hair falls out, my hair turned from black to brown within a few days, my hair dried out completely, to the point it actually snaps if I pull on it. I have to wash my face a few times a day due to the extra sebum my body produces now. I have acne outbreaks on my face and body. I have a constant burning sensation running down the center of my head, this is where the hair loss is greatest. I've been off it for 6 months now, but while I was on it I went into a severe depression. My libido shot up massively too. It took less than 6 weeks for this drug to ruin my life.
In and attempt to save my hair, I've completely destroyed it. Under certain lights my scalp is very visible. I only have myself to blame for getting on this drug, but it seems everyone is very quick to recommend it to others. I read many various accounts of what i'm going through over the internet and others responding with 'It's the initial shed' Bullshit. the shed doesn't stop.
