Well, to be honest there is some truth to that. Looking at the amount of pain that is caused by baldness (revealed in most posts here) I really think that finasteride might offer an improvement in the way some people feel here.
Hellouser is obviously the wrong person to adress this to as he tried finasteride and said he suffered from adverse effects.

I microdosed Finasteride earlier this year, about 0.5mg once a week for about 2-3 months. I noticed a drop in libido and weaker erections. I started finasteride in about January and hopped off around March... never going back to it again. Fast forward to today, everything is pretty much back to normal. Thank god.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that anybody who doesn't take it deserves to go bald, but some guys don't even give themselves a chance. They get so caught up in the sides and spend hours upon hours researching sides and horror stories that by the time they decide to use the drug they are already convinced that they are going to be one of the unlucky that get sides. I have no clue if Hellouser did or didn't get sides, but I do know that he has been calling finasteride poison for the past 3 or so years.

Hellouser is a fraud and one of the most annoying members of this site. Remember when he was preaching about that private forum being the greatest thing on earth? Acting all superior to the members on here but guess what, all these super advanced treatments failed and he is very bald.

If thats not enough he is super aggressive on his opinion on diagnosing hairloss and yet is terrible at it. The guy only realized he was balding when he was a heavy NW3 with sever diffuse thinning, such a person should never open their mouth to diagnose anyone else.

Hellhouser is OK in my books. Your opinion of him seems to be coming from a very personal place. It's a bit creepy.
And to say that anyone deserves to be bald is, frankly.... childish.

Noone deserves to be bald but I do find it odd that someone so vocal about how baldness makes shallow women not want him etc waited so long to take probably the single most effective treatment there is. I honestly thought that Hell was one of the guys who got on finasteride too late and was in the NW3/4 twilight zone.
