If you take finasteride for the majority of your youth, but stop, then will your hormones have calmed down to the point they can't effect your hairs

I often wonder it since it seems that it only gets bad if your hormones heavily flow hard from your youth but that's probably just my conjecture.

I don’t think so. The problem is the sensitivity of the follicles to DHT not the level of hormones itself.

With finasteride, you suppress DHT so there’s less to act on those follicles but when you stop, there will be DHT even if low levels at old age. They won’t be as low as finasteride reduces them to.

finasteride suppresses them by 70%+ that is massive reduction.

Also it seems the older you get the more sensitivity of follicles increases to DHT, aging weakens them naturally too.

Seems like whatever Norwood you’re destined to, you will proceed to that.

What % of balding men can grow full beards. I can, and luckily my hair looks similar to my beard hair so.
