I'm so mad i can't beleive it. I go to get a haircut today because not only is my hair looking kinda thin, but my right temple just looks like such ***. 3/4's into the haircut i hear this weird crunch sound that seems vaguely familiar. THE DAMN BARBER TOOK ABOUT 1/4 OF MY HAIR OUT WITH THINNING SHEARS! No one has used those on me since i was 14. Ridiculous!!!!He said that my hair looked very thick short, and since I have curly hair, it would be easy to style when thinner. WTF he has been cutting my hair for a year and is usually quite good. Now not only do i have to deal with a more receded temple, but my hair is thin as hell! It is friggin see through in some parts when dry! I mean if anything i thought my hair was getting thicker from being on thin, but now how am i supposed to tell any gains?? Now i definately gotta wear a hat for a while...sh*t.

anyone know how short thinning shears cut the hair? Is it all the way down like to a NO.2 blade or something??? how long till they grow back out....

What's a thinning sheer? If you used this thinning sheer on the sides and back and not on the top would that help even out everything?

get your girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/dog some scissors and a good quality fine tooth comb.

I still have the thinning shears done on the back and sides. My back and sides are incredibly thick still; I have trouble running my fingers through the back of my head. So I have no choice to thin them so they match my thin top better :cry:
