Hi all! Really glad after reading all of your stories knowing that I'm not alone! I'm 22 years old, from Denmark so please execuse my bad english! I'm losing hair... not at the temples I think, but at the crown! :(

I have some probably obvious questions for you guys...

I've read about Procerin... but many of you guys in here uses Proscar! Is it the same? And if not... what is the difference?

I'm a thinking of starting with Procerin or Proscar, Nizoral Shampoo 2% <- correct? And maybe a Zink supplement... do you think it's a good start?

I'm pretty scared of Propecia because of the side effects!

Your regimen needs some serious work.

First off, Pr0cer1n is not the same as Proscar. Pr0cer1n does not contain finasteride and instead contains some useless crap that probably won't help. In other words, it's a scam.

Second, Proscar IS Propecia, except Proscar comes in 5mg and Propecia comes in 1mg. So people buy Proscar to save money and they just split the pills into 4.

Most of the people start with the Big 3:

1) Finasteride (Drug, pill)

2) Minoxidil (Topical, liquid)

3) Ketoconazol 2% (Shampoo)

1) Finasteride is the name of the drug. To combat hairloss you need 1mg of Finasteride every day.

Finasteride 1mg = Propecia

Finasteride 5mg = Proscar (in this case you need to cut the pill in 5)


2) Minoxidil is the name of the drug, you need to apply 1ml twice a day. It's brand name is Rogaine or Regaine. Also Dr. Lee Minoxidil.


3) Ketoconazol is the name of the drug. It's brand name is Nizoral. Wash your hair and scalp twice a week.

Take in mind, some people use 1 of these drugs (for example, only Finasteride). Others use 2 of these drugs (Finasteride and Ketoconazol)

And those who want to combat their hairloss with all the weapons, use the big 3 combo.

You need to evaluate how advanced is your hairloss and which norwood scale you are. Maybe try to post pictures so people can help you. Also it would be great if you visit a doctor.

Also, about PRO-CE-RIN, it's a natural supplement. It contains Saw Palmetto. It could work good as a supplement, as long as you are using the proven treatments, for example Finasteride. But PRO-CE-RIN alone, probably won't do much for your hairloss.

Also, it would be great if you can tell us more about your hairloss history.

But I still have some questions...

Do you need a precription on Proscar to buy it online? And the same thing for Nizoral and minoxidil?

And the most important thing... where is a good place to buy all those thing considering I'm from Denmark?
