In a shed...

But I'm happy as hell about it!

Yes, friends...I'm on month 6 of my treatment... and all seems to be going well. No WAHOOOOO results...and none were expected so soon anyhow... but there has been a rather dramatic slowdown of my hairloss.

But now, the shed. I was at first kinda upset to see it happen...but on close inspection of the hairs that were shed (bad habit for us losers of our hair...sucks up time, patience, and energy) I found that few, if ANY hairs (50-100 in the sink after combing it all out after the end of the day) showed any sign of shrinking or discoloration. Most of the hairs are short...like half to 1 and a half inch...the long ones have big thick bulbs. The shorter ones actually show signs of thickening up. I'll let yah know what happens in a month to see how things are turning out. Drink one for me, keep yer fingers crossed, and I'll keep yah posted. Good luck to the rest of yah too.

Thanks for the update Sting. I too, am in a mild shed at the 6 month mark. It's funny, I predicted and expected it, but when it actually came, it still frustrated me.

I found that the difference between this one and the initial one in month 1, is that back then the hair was undergoing the big transition from weak and thin to full and healthy. The shed was tolerable as the overall improvement was dramatic and fairly quick. (I keep my hair real short).

Now, this shed has no offset and has become the main focus. Fortunately, it's been mild and the gains will still far outwigh the losses when compared to where I initially started. I look forward to the late fall when I should be peaking again.

Keep up the good work.

When typically do these sheds happen...twice a year? I think I have a shed going on in front. Not sure if it is related to the fincar switchover or not.
