Increased hair loss?

Hello,
I have started using Regaine and this is my 4th week so far...From the first day i have started applying regaine i have noticed an increased hair loss that has continued so far...Im starting to get worried since in the areas i have been applying it...now i can see more of my scalp. Is this by any chance normal? or should i quit using regaine?

stay with it for atleast 3-4 months before judging results. shedding is a normal side effect with minoxidil.

I had a HUGE shed 4-5 weeks into foam, I thought I would be bald within a year.

Things did gradully pick up after though.

not convinced about minoxidil

I used minoxidil for two years and I gave it up: I had the impression that it only shortened the hair phases, so that hairs became shorter and shorter. It didn't help enough against receding at the forehead, if anything, it produced fluff. It seems that the different treatments work differently with each individual. Not only me as a transman (former woman), but also xy-men had shedding reduction with Pantostin, which contents Alfatradiol, one estrogen, does`'t affect you because local on head like minoxidil.
