İncreased sebum with oral biotin?

Hi guys,

im on 5mg Biotin since almost 10 days, however i noticed too much sebum on my skin, especially on my forehead. i didnt have sebum until i started to take Biotin. My skin and forehead was dry before Biotin take.

Anyone experienced the same thing?

[h=3]Yes, biotin increases the enzyme acetyl-scoa-carboxylase which makes you produce more sebum. I already have oily skin, so when I used to take hair-specific vitamins (loaded with msm and biotin) my oil glands would work overtime. To the point at which I no longer take them.[/h]

i also gave up on Biotin, my sebum problem decreased too much just in 1 day.

i never thought that Biotin could cause that much sebum.

Wtf? I take biotin because it's said that a lack of it cause saboreha, yes I did head many sebum on scalp that triggers acne but I thought its from finasteride
