increased shed=panic

Hi.
I've noticed an increase in shedding over the past few weeks. I haven't changed my regimen. Am sort of new to the oral spironolactone (1.5 months) but other than that nothing different.
I know the hair goes through normal shed cycles...I'm just getting panicky.
No real question or anything...just needed to vent a bit.

Its completely normal to have large sheds when using minoxidil, even several months after you started. It often means your a good responder, and hopefully you will get some regrowth. Good luck.

Patience is key. No one lost their hair in a day and no one grew it back any sooner.

Yes, please be patient. I shedded a while, but after only 6 weeks, I have new hairs!! Shedding is over! The old hair has to come out to let new ones in.
