inhibition of the proliferation of fibroblast cells

Anyone think this might be any help for Androgenetic Alopecia?

Medermal gel contains extracts from onions known as cepalin and allantoin which are able to inhibit the proliferation of fibroblast cells. It is used only when the wound has closed. Massage on a new scar 3 to 4 times daily for 8 weeks. For old scars, massage 3 to 4 times daily ofr 3 to 6 months. Scars should soften and look smoother.

Apparently fibroblast cells play a significant role in the balding process.

Don't know, it inhibits the proliferation of these fibroblast cells, so could be helpfull when hairloss has just recently occured.

To really cause regrowth it would need to remove existing fibrous tissue from old scars this could remodel the skin to regrow hair, they suggest that it works on old scars, would be great if this is true.

By the way, onion juice is used in many old hairloss remedies, so there could be some shred of thruth to it.
