Injecting Estradiol Valerate Directly Into My Scalp

I know I'll get abuse for this, but I am desperate enough to ask.

Late twenties transgender woman here with 1.5 years supply of estradiol valerate stocked, extreme hair loss, and failing desire to live if I can't fix my hair loss.

Before you ask, it's not just my hair that troubles me (family abuse for being trans, general trans dysphoria, financial pressures of trans treatment, a great deal of torso scarring are other things), but it's by far the worst piece of dysphoria for me and the giant redwood trunk that breaks the camel's back.

Is there any feasible benefit to injecting my scalp directly with with of my Estradiol valerate to try and regrow hair?

It's one of the most drastic things I've seen suggested on here, but I feel as though I only have about five months to continue trying to regain hair, and by extension living.

I don't fear dying now that I've had some time to have some fleeting glimpses of happiness thanks to transitioning, but I don't really want to make my hair loss even worse in case there is otherwise a chance of improvement in the next 5 months or so.

Edit: OR how about applying estradiol valerate to the hair as a smeared lotion? I guess I'd do that instead if it was felt possibly useful and yet better for hair than injecting, for somebody totally unafraid of gyno and not especially concerned with dying in pursuit of the best transition possible.

Valerate is an ester. You’d be better of applying/injection estradiol that has no ester attaxhed.

I would say there is a sligh potential benefit. What’s ur entire regiment now? Are you still losing hair on it?

Dutasteride 0.5mg daily, finasteride 5mg daily, minoxidil twice daily (foam, solution spray or solution droplets), perilla oil tablets, biotin 12000nanog, microneedling (first once a week with minoxidil break, now less depth more often with minoxidil afterwards - @Somebody style), women's multi-vitamin tablets, b vitamin tablets.

HRT:
Predominantly 5mg/ml twice within seven days. Soon swapping to 10mg/ml once every 5 days.
Sometimes I swallow one or two 2mg tablets of estradiol valerate a day and apply a 100mcg / 24 hours transdermal patch every 3 - 4 days because I am desperate.

As for hair loss, I really didn't notice any dropping since my post hair transplant (oh yeah, I had 2 of those over two consecutive days 7 months ago...) shed. I am *noticing* more now, especially after a shower and dry towelling, but that might be because I am losing my hope that things were falling into place and becoming a hyper aware hair counter.

I am, after all, effectively chemically castrated (not like this cis male "oh no! Finasteride made my semen watery!" castrated I keep seeing around here - I mean more like "I (happily) cannot produce semen" castrated), so I hope further hair loss is a thing of the past.

Thanks for engaging. I appreciate it.

Hopefully I am not losing more hair, no.

Any ideas where to buy oral minoxidil as somebody in the UK? I know there's InHouse Pharmacy, but I'm not massively find of their prices and mechanism for transferring money (it's super cumbersome, at least with my bank).

Edit update: My oestradiol valerate provider has said that oral minoxidil won't help for male pattern baldness hair regrowth and my pharmacist friend is demanding that I don't try it because they think my blood pressure will collapse. As I say though, I am willing to take that risk, even lethally so, if it can resurrect my hair.

You can get oral minoxidil here pretty easily, just a simple uk to uk bank transfer, usually arrives within a week or so from thailand. https://www.thailandpharmacy.net/product-category/hypertension/

Start on a low dose to see how your body responds to it, some people can only take 2.5mg, some can take 10, 12.5mg etc It may help it may not, up to you to try. Expect an increase on hair all over your body though, it's not just localized to the scalp.

Thanks.

I'll order some tomorrow through my bank.

I will need to consider whether I'll use it though, since whilst I am mostly over the whole may collapse due to low blood pressure thing, the prospect of growing more body and facial hair is scary to me as a trans woman. I am just getting on top of thinning it out. What I've since read about *possible* regrowth is tantalising though.
