Insurance ?

My derm wrote me a rx for proscar 30 count and wrote take as reccomended. I am 24 what would happen if i try to use my insurance card?? Do they deny or will they call me and ask what it is for? I figured i would give it a try since he did not write cut into 1/4's on rx. Anyone tried this?

Every insurance company and policy is different. Most don't cover cosmetics but some do.

Just be honest with them and see.

Well im back and the pharmisist said are you cutting these in 4, i didnt know what to say, so i told the truth. He responds 10$ for 30 pills. It says its a proscar generic I didnt know they made a generic???? But i am happy with the 10 bucks hahahaha
