That didnt say anything that we didnt already know. And it seems like the detailed results will not be announced before H1 2009.

"Of the group of 6 patients without stimulation of the scalp, 3 had an increased hair count and two had a reduced hair count; one has been lost to follow-up.

Of the 5 subjects with pre-treatment scalp stimulation, all had increased hair count at 12 weeks and the 3 who were evaluable at 24 weeks all had an increased hair count at that time point. "

So still no info on how much new hair growth they actually got, just that they got hair to grow from cells. Do anyone know if "increased hair count" means they have got more than 0 hairs to grow, or does it mean that they got more hairs to grow than they took from the orginal biopsy? In the past they have said that they had 30-100% growth, does it means that a biopsy of 100 hairs have multiplied to 130-200 hairs?

If they actually have more hair growth than a normal transplant or the same amount of growth, we at least have a new less painful hair transplant method.

But I think investors are disappointed, and its gonna be difficult for Intercytex to get more founding if they dont show more results. The stock have more or less decreased in value the last year, and it looks like only "dream and hope" stabilizes and increases the value of the stock when they put out positive info.

But lets all keep our fingers crossed for ICX-TRC and their wound healing research.

Exactly. This is horrible news. I mean bad. I think they are stuck with just getting a little more hair to grow. Five out of five men with pre-stimulation got "signifigant" new hair growth, but define signifigant.

WHERE ARE THE PICTURES DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????????????

hair transplant surgeons provide tons of pictures, tons and tons of before and afters. This was supposed to be better than hair transplant surgery that didnt' even thin out your donor area, and we cant even get a picture???

They are stopping all new research unless some outside entitiy steps in to pay for it or partners with them to pay for it, but will sell to a buyer. Aderans has first dibs on buying it due to a former agreement. We will know if its worth a damn or not if they buy it within the next month or two. I cannot fathom them not buying something that grew fairly impressive hair for Bosley, their subsidiary in the states.....................but if hair growth was good, they should commercialize it themselves. If they have five good pictures they could publicize them and have tons of new investors. IN other words, the increases in hair count are meager, and the product isn't very good. Its probably no more new hairgrowth than propecia can give someone to be honest.

Its Follica or nothing. If not Follica.............................there is nothing coming down the pike. Gene therapy is at least a decade away, probably two. Aderans hasn't updated their website in two years and is now trying to grow hair outside the body to re-implant (good luck with that) and Phoenixbio has updated their site.............in Japanese, but no new updates. Shisedo has apparently gave up on HM research as their website doesn't have anything about it anymore.

Their financial results did not look real reassuring either. or maybe i don't know how r&d budgets are formulated. is it just a spend as much of your investment as you get type of thing? lol.

I agree. If the product had shown remotely decent results, they'd be shouting it from the rooftops, we'd have plenty of pictures, and there would a lot of excitement conveyed in their reports. But... nothing. Their published information sounds drab and deliberately ambiguous.

Let's hope Follica is on to something.
