I have extensive hair loss and have been wearing wigs, but a couple months ago I tried doing something out of sheer curiosity, I started putting Rogaine and RetinA on my scalp and something interesting is happening, my entire head is growing a lot of new sprouts. Some of them are even getting kind of dark.
Even my lower temple areas where most balding guys' heads tend to be completely without any hair are full of these. If every one of these pokers I see were terminal hairs, I would have a full head of hair.
Should i try a several month stint of regrowth treatment involving Rogaine, RetinA, Nioxin follicle booster, and propecia and see if anytyhing happens? I'm not expecting much from it but if it did something substantial, I could supplement with hair transplants, and supplement even more with Toppik.
I used to do the concealer thing when my hair loss was less extensive. It made my hair look like a full head and it made things just about as easy as having one. I've never fully committed myself to a diligent regrowth regimen.
Should I just try it? It would be low cost, low time spent.
