I was thinking about some of my Facebook friends today, how would their lives change if they suddenly became nw5's.

Think about the most good locking b**ch or guy on your Facebook list. Read some of their statuses and check some photos, and then imagine their become nw5 and think about how things would change!

Interesting thought, they don't know how lucky they are!

The reality is almost everyone's attraction is heavily/entirely influenced by their hair, when it comes to aesthetics, and ageing gracefully.

A lot of factors come into play but not being to sport a hair style is a big blow for most men unless Afro Caribbean, even they look better with hair.

Hairstyle is necessary for a more human, youthful, attractive look.

Another thing is that most people can't pull off the bald look. With other words they look unattractive with a bald head. The explanation can be as easy as that.

Yes. Rare to see a bald guy in their 20s, 30s with hot women generally. Older bald guys you may see in a relationship with an attractive 40 plus woman, but he probably got her when he actually had a hairstyle and was perceived as non balding.

Also girls know bald guys have less options and even within their own social circle, guys will quickly know he is no real threat. You can sense that.

It's not just society, it's just not seen as attractive. My own sister, mum and gf all find it unattractive. No surprise, do I like bald/buzzed girls? No.

Being in your early 20's rocking a NW5 rather than a NW1 is going to age you 10 years easily.
I have a friend who has just turned 21 and is a NW4, he can grow a beard but man does he look old.

It's funny because the guy's dad has a full head of hair and a good height, he got all the mom genes. Short and balding, talk about unlucky. His brother is tall and also not balding...so talk about screwed over.

Not true in Western Europe. With my best friend, we spot NW4+ men with quite attractive women all, the, time. We say to each other "Look, hope!" every 10 minutes really.

Even we can't believe our eyes, but that's just reality. Your mom, sister and girlfriend find it unattractive, that's the keyword here.

It is society. If it were universally unattractive (that means repulsive), I wouldn't see so many bald men with attractive women around me in Brussels.

Be careful, if you say it's different in the UK or the US because women are more picky, you'll just be proving my point, that hatred for baldness is basically a social and cultural thing.

The women probably are more picky in the UK, US. But you need to look at the issue more deeply. You may see a bald man with a pretty attractive girl but you don't know the story behind them. How long have they been together ie pre baldness, is she settling for him in the mean time until someone better comes along, does she have some major baggage like kids or health issues.

For every successful bald story, there will be way more that aren't. Some girls may overlook physical appearances for example and like the guys personality.

Even in medieval times women didn't want a bald guy. Society can't change your desires that deeply. Interracial sex used to be banned and seen as disgusting in legal terms, yet relationships and kids still happened.

As a 17 year old who is losing his hair for 2 years now, I can confirm that being a nw3 or higher is so weird on a guy under 18 that women would simply reject the guy for having hairloss instead of finding him unattractive. So they reject the trait hair loss instead of his looks.

But it is an undeniable fact, I believe you know it too, that hair makes one more attractive while being visible bald makes one less attractive.

That blows, Sucks when your brother gets the good genes and your stuck with the defunk side of the genetics. The worst is when you point it out and they look at you like youre right.

Why didn't you stay bald, you could of had these "attractive" women.

I always see "real" confidence as something when you not only feel good about how you look but also get conformation from outside that it is true by things like compliments or attention from girls.

It truly is amazing the difference a head of hair makes.

Full head of hair, and steroid physique is comparable to walking on cloud 9. Feel like the KING.

Who wouldn't feel like a boss walking around with a thick NW1 mane, and a juiced to the gills physique.

Well whatever gallery or collection of the 'hottest men' or whatever they have, have had men with full heads of hair. You hardly ever see a bald guy been portrayed as beautiful.

In India calling someone bald is like abusing them. It's like a cuss word. You don't become bald here, Bald becomes you. It is how you are identified and referred to always. Just the other day I was at the gym and this guy tells the other one "don't throw the dumbbells on the floor or that baldie (gym trainer) is gona get pissed", (in Hindi). And they both burst out laughing. It wouldn't even be funny if it didn't have the word baldie in it.

How can any man expect to have a girl here unless the girl is not shallow at all. A lot of people even say you should get married before you start losing your hair and men are often like I hope I don't go bald before marriage. After marriage I don't care if I go completely bald. It's a horror show being bald here.

Yes but that doesn't mean he can't attract women anymore.

Hatred against bald men is taught, it's not innate. I've met women who honestly didn't take baldness into account at all, because they were not influenced by these BS TV shows.

Those are the best women on the planet :)

Their man was bald, or they had many bald exes, and it's just not on their radar. Their faces might have seemed f-ed up to you, but to them, they just didn't notice it.

They are attracted to the man or they are not, hair or no hair. And most people don't notice baldness. You know it yourself, were you noticing men's hair loss before you lost hair?

I clearly remember that I wasn't, and most members will tell you the same here. I just talked to the guy normally and didn't notice his balding or even his baldness at all.

Wow fred posting something positive + I could agree.. im impressed bud
