IPL to remove hair

I was wondering if anyone has tried using IPL to remove head hair, its common for chin and leg hair but does it work for head?

i noticed some people saying when bald people want to be fully bald without showing a mild horshepattern (despite daily shaving) they laser it off, is this like the typical IPL you get in local beuty shops?

the reason i ask is im a NW5 with massive diffused thinning in my donar area, i want to wear hair for extended period of times and don't want to have hair growing underneath my hair system!

Thanks!

also i realise this is an odd section to post in but i don't know where to put it.

There is no reason why it would not work, but you would be better off asking the clinic directly.

Also, the lasers typically found in beauty salons are often not very powerful, something I found out the expensive way.

I would suggest shopping around and getting some trials done, ideally see if you can find a specialised IPL clinic rather than somewhere which also does manicures and hair styling. From my experience, if it doesn't hurt, it's not working :)

IPL is effective.

If you can find a place with a Soprano laser, it's new technology and doesn't hurt at all.
