Irritation with minoxidil

I had used minoxidil successfully for a few years with no side effects.
Last year I started getting major irritation when I would use it.
Is there a brand that is less irritating or should I use tricomen in conjunction ??
I'm thinking of going to finasteride and want to use growth stimulants as well. I'm a little concerned about the side effects of finasteride.
Has anyone used revivogen with any success ?

It is most likely that you are experiencing a reaction to the Propylene Glycol that is in your minoxidil solution. Thankfully, Dr. Lee formulates a PPG free 5% minoxidil solution as well as a regular 5% minoxidil solution with much less PPG than in what you are currently using. His website is
