Is 0.5 To High Of A Dose Topical Finasteride

Hi. My surgeon gave me a script for topical 5% minoxidil and 0.5 finasteride

from everything I've read online the normal amount is 0.25 or 0.1 finasteride

Should I contact my doctor and ask him to change the dosage

Also I've seen other ingredients are added to the topical solution as in 82F

Curious what people think is best

0.5% topical finasteride is too high and unnecessary.
