Is 1ml minoxidi once a day REALLY enough?

I heard it is, but I wanted some confirmation.
I still have lots of hair, and the area to cover is not very big. I've been taking 1ml once a day for like a month or two now, but I'm having a hard time noticing any significant improvements.
I heard that the still life of the product is 22 hours.

Yes, it's enough for most people to have an effect. However, twice per day works better. (Many people will disagree with that, but that's my interpretation of the studies that I have read.)

"A month or two" isn't much time for minoxidil to work. Some people notice improvements only 6-9 months later.

For many people, minoxidil doesn't result in any visible improvement, but it does slow down hair loss somewhat.

Also, there's a better than 10% chance that minoxidil doesn't work for a person at all.

Twice per day means 2ml a day? Or are you suggesting splitting the 1ml dosage into two applications of 0,5 ?

One application would work best for me due to my daily routine and time schedules.

I'm suggesting 1 ml in the morning, 1 ml in the evening.

Doing just one 1 ml dose per day is good, too, but probably less effective.

The studies have shown that 2 applications per day work better than just 1 application. Why is that? We don't exactly know, though the papers have discussed two most probable explanations:

1. A higher frequency of minoxidil application stimulates the hair follicles better, so people get better results.

2. When people apply minoxidil, they massage the scalp to enable absorption. Perhaps massaging the scalp more often, twice per day rather than once, improves minoxidil results, due to better absorption or whatever.

Thx for the reply.
Yeah I heard that 2ml is better than 1, but money is low >_> And because of my daily routine I'd rather take only one application, but 2ml would be too much for just one.
Also I heard that 1ml is just the standard dose. The amount of minoxidil needed depends on the area that you need to cover.
