Is 2.5mg of RU58841 enough if I'm using dutasteride and oral minoxidil?

I'm wondering if 2.5mg should be enough to stop hair loss or I need 5 mg considering I'm already using oral dutasteride and oral minoxidil.

What? RU is used typically at 5% of a topical solution, meaning if you use 2mL a day that's 100mg.

Do you mean oral minoxidil dosage?

Oh I see. Why not just try 5% first, and if sides happen, then titrate the dose down to 2.5%?
yeah, but I think I'm taking too much things to start with 5% RU.

In all honesty using RU at all will be a bit of a token effort when you’re on dutasteride and oral min ..
But there is not much I can do to try to stop hair loss. I have to try RU before giving up.

Are you sure that you are getting real dutasteride and real minoxidil ? Are you sure you have male pattern baldness and not other kind of hair loss.

I'm taking avodart and compounded minoxidil made in the pharmacy. Of course I've male pattern baldness. At first, when my trichologist prescribed me those medication, my hair improved by a lot, but now, a year later, I'm close to my baseline. That's basically why I want to start RU, because I can't stop hair loss and it doesn't seem to stop, and I already reached the one year mark, so there won't be any improvement if I keep doing this regime.

Be sure that you are checking exactly why you need to check. If you balding areas don't increase, it means it is working. Don't expect to regrowth hair in the death zone, specially in the hairline is is almost imposible.
Also, why do you want to buy in some home made lab in China an who knows what is inside product that was NEVER tested in humans ( so even if you get the right sh*t, you don't know and you can test if it goes systemic ) instead of use, for example, ketoconzole 2 % cream ?

Yeah it would be the perfect complement to your stack, 1 ml is 25 mg at that concentration, so it is good, question is how does anyone know if what you are applying is even RU.

My balding areas are increasing. I almost recovered a straight hairline, but now its receding again. I also use ketoconazole, microneedling and have tried topical finasteride 1%. The problem is not only receding, is the diffuse thinning all over the scalp.

I'll have to take the risk. There aren't many things on the market right now, so you either risk it or you go bald.

Or send it out for testing, gonna do just that, for 180 eur but at least i´ll know what i´m applying is actually RU or discard it if it is bunk or underdosed, pretty sure a lot of users bashing on treatments such as RU or CB is just because they are applying bunk stuff or in the best case very underdosed, once i have tested mine i´ll share results right here, i got it from Actifolic since i´m in EU, it is supposed to be 8% but i have my doubts but this should not be based on feelings, that is why i´ll send it out for testing
