Anyone not been back to normal since stopping finasteride
Yea, me and a lot of the guys on
http://www.propeciahelp.com ... that's why the site exists in the first place, we're trying to figure out how to reverse the damage and altered endocrine system the drug left us with after quitting. Same deal with with

If there is anyone else out there that has had this reduced sensation, was it temproary for you or did it remain while using finasteride?
Loss of sensation started within a week of taking it, continued while on the drug, never returned after quitting 2 yrs ago.

My dick feels like rubber and basically feels like an arm that has fallen asleep, no longer pleasureable to the touch. This is 100% real man, for some unfortunate guys, and also penile shrinkage, fibrosis and Peyronie's Disease (curvature) as a result of the depleted androgens, namely DHT.
ALSO -- since I already know PONDLE will come in here and disagree with me or claim that some of the Finasteride studies on Propeciahelp.com are done to rodents and at high doses and that they therefore have no clinical or statistical relevance to us, I will head that off in advance.
I disagree with his pro-Finasteride claims since 1) Finasteride essentially has a flat-dose response... 1mg or 100mg, inhibition of DHT is nearly identical; 2) animal models (despite our genetic differences, rats/humans are mammals) are often used to test the effects of medication before they are tested in humans, to see what effects they might have -- often with similar results; and 3) what they showed in those studies happened to me and a small percentage of others in real life, as they demonstrated in the rodent and other studies demonstrating what happens when you inhibit 5AR-II and a percentage of DHT (an androgen). There are also studies showing that androgens are critical for maintenance of proper genital tissue structure and function in humans, that the human penis is rife with androgen receptors, and that 5AR-II is found in genital skin.
I'll let you put two and two together. As for Pondle: don't even bother. Quote and spout off all you want about "clinical relevance" and "stastical correlation", I'll take my personal experience over your "statistically improbable" claims anyday.
