Is a Nizoral shed possible?

Hello, I've been using minoxidil for a few years, and I recently included Nizoral 2% into my regime, twice a week.
I started using it for about a month and a half, and I am experimenting an increased number of falling hairs.

Can ketoconazole make you shed? Is this possible in such a short time?

And I guess this is a good sign?

Thanks for your help!

Come on guys, please have pity on a frightened guy. :(

Did you have a month and a half Nizoral shed? Did it come back again stronger?

(Maybe I should go down to 1% nizoral)

Thanks in advance!

Anything that effects a change in the hair cycle may cause "shedding." Yes - if you're responding to the mild action of Nizoral, it is possible.

I highly doubt that you'd shed from using Nizoral. It's probably your male pattern baldness.

It's pretty tied...

Yet the results are in my hands when I shower. ARGHHHH.

I don't know if this is normal, maybe I should skip a week showering with Nizoral to see if it would stop? Because maybe it just irritates my skin making hair fall out, (even if I don't notice it very irritated). :freaked:

Anybody here experienced a Nizoral shed and recovered afterwards with stronger hair? If so, how long did it take?

Thanks. :(

Maybe you're living it in for too long.. a thing I notice when I use nizoral is my hair feeling tangly unlike with other shampoos, and I think if hair is tangly when trying to detangle it it will obviously force your hair to shed more, when I wash with nizoral I try to dry my hair with a towel and only detangle/comb it thereafter.

I started using Nizoral a couple of weeks ago and I seem to be experiencing some shedding... I think. My hair is thinner than before. I thought male pattern baldness was a slow process. If loosing density whithin a couple weeks, wouldn't it be more shedding than male pattern baldness progression?
