Is Alpecin Safe To Use With Minoxidil?

Hello!

I have read on the forum that a study says that caffeine shampoos (such as Alpecin) interact with Minoxidil making the latter ineffective? Is it true? I want to change my shampoo and was thinking about buying Alpecin but I started using Minoxidil and wouldn't want to remove its effects.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I wouldn’t bother with Alpecin it has no benefit whatsoever, use something like Nizoral.

It's safe to use, but most likely won't do sh*t. Last year they banned Alpecin in the UK from saying it can help reduce hair loss since the evidence is weak at best.

Snake oil for hair loss. Not a bad shampoo otherwise.

Nizoral is still the gold standard.
