Is anyone worried about another recession?

With the markets being so turbulent, and the fact that none of the problems that were the cause of the 2008 crash have been corrected, with our politicians having resorted to sticking band aids over gaping holes.
Does it make you worry that if the world was plunged into a repeat that the already tiny amount of money that goes in hair research would dry up completely?
I mean it has the potential to knock things back 6-8 years, especailly when we may have a few promising treatments on the horizon.

The US economy is still horrible. The unemployment and hiring statistics are really just a cover for the government. The average median income is extremely low for the last 20 years. We are still in a recession. If we get hit again it will be horrible. I only no what it was like in NY, but we got hit hard during the last one. Being a financial hub is a double edged sword. A ton of people in my area lost there jobs and houses foreclosed. We started to bounce back and then hurricane sandy d!cked us again.

**** would get scary if another big one hit.

Really since 9/11 NY has been getting screwed
