Is Castor Oil Safe To Consume Or Not?

Is it same to consume orally, long term?

I ask this question because i read somewhere that castor beans is used as a contraceptive (both males and females) in poor countries

Do you think it's safe?

Yes and the recommended oral amounts are tiny, less than one third of a tablespoon or even lower at one ml daily. Used once in a while on the scalp it should be fine too. All oils are somewhat helpful when applied to hair from time to time like a conditioner. I tried two tablespoons initially and ahem, had explosive diarrhea that night and the next day.
