Is Continual Miniaturization one week on finasteride a tell tale sign that It won't work regardless of three month progress period?

Hi how's it going, I'm new to this community but I've started finasteride about a week ago for Androgenic Alopecia. Definitely way too early to make definitive conclusions on a lot of things. However, the continual miniaturization of hairline follicles is what concerns me as I see them get shorter along my hairline and hairs deeper into my hairline look to be getting shorter as well.

I was wondering if any Finasteride Users who have had continual miniaturization on the beginning stages of Finasteride Use were able to recover that hair eventually after 3 months or more, or did the miniaturization stop completely for you as soon as you implemented finasteride.

I can only assume if finasteride works to stop/halt/or slow the miniaturization process completely as soon as you use it, then I may be in trouble even though it's only been one week. But maybe there are users here with a similar experience at beginning stages of treatment, and it worked out.

I would love to get your feedback on your experiences, thank you so much for the help.

You're not going to notice anything in only a week. It took a year before I knew finasteride was helping me.

One week is simply not enough time to determine if Finasteride is an effective treatment for you. One of the mental consequences of hairloss is the obsessive over-analyzation of the scalp on a day-to-day basis, which is not indicative of how hair truly progresses. Everyone has their own journey in combating hairloss, and for some, Finasteride is simply not enough— for others, it is enough into the distant future. A determination can not be concluded until you allow your hair to progress through the natural cycles, which can take anywhere from 3 months to a whole year.

Do not fall for the individuals that claim positive or negative results in the span of days following treatment as this is certainly a result of the previously mentioned obsessive over-analyzation that many of us suffer while combating hairloss. It is a slow, and gradual process.

Thank you for the responses everyone, you are all right, I gotta stick to the routine and be consistent for months, maybe an entire year, before coming to any conclusions.

As much as I want to predict my future results based upon my current hair loss plan it wouldn't be possible so early into treatment, the hair cycle is definitely not a linear progression in terms of growth as per that diagram, so looks can be deceiving and these miniaturized hairs will need time to decide where they wanna go.

Update:
I've been shedding a lot immediately upon implementing finasteride, and I do see a lot of tiny hairs under phone light growing in my temples and along my hairline so time will tell what happens here. I'll give it atleast 4-5months at the very least before I share another update.
