It turns out, most headphone manufactures use bald plated mannequins when testing their audio. However, they do not account for hair. I've noticed in the past, that when I am a full baldcel, the bass response with headphones is significantly larger. This leads to yet another advantage that baldcels have- improved bass response when wearing over the ear headphones. Sometimes I get jealous when I see a baldcel wearing headphones! As they have an improved audio experience when compared to full heads.
Of course, the main advantage of baldcels is still unchanged- they spend less money on shampoo.
