Is half cap enough?

I am thinning on the whole top of my head. I notice instructions say half cap but they also assume you are treating a bald spot on the crown. Do I need to use more to treat a larger area like my hairline and whole top of head?

I use the foam all over my whole scalp and only use half a cap full. A few years ago when I first used liquid minoxidil I used more then the directed amount and got all sorts of side affects. Using half a cap full has definitely improved my hair.

Kiel, if you're only using half a capful, how are you applying it?! I need to use way more to cover the top of my head!

I acualy squirt it into my finger tips approximately what half a cap full looks like and first rub it in my hirline and then rub it in with my finger tips back and forth until I reach my crown. My main concern is my hairline and temples so I try to hit those two spots with the majority of the foam. you can also put a little water on your tips to spread it more evenly. I believe water helps with absorbtion.

some of us do, some don't. things to consider are the size of your head (seriously) as well as the length of your hair. Those who shave hair will require less amount of minoxidil to completely and effectively cover the intended area. got it? :)
