is it better to start off taking finasteride slower at first?

im taking finasteride but i've just been taking it every other day just to test the waters. i'm thinking of sometimes skipping a day/weekend or something and just doing it intermittently. does this sound like a good method? taking it slow to see if i get sides first for a month or maybe a couple to see if i get sides or how i react?

I would microdose at first, and if no issues slowly go up some as much as you can handle. I would stop and stay at 1/4 the normal 1mg dose though. I think 1mg is way more then anyone needs

if you are paranoid before even starting id tritate up slowly

most people just pop the pill without even googling once and never feel anything tho, but nocebo is a real thing

get off this forum for a few weeks completely or any hairloss related channels.

And remember you’re not special, millions of people have taken finasteride since 1990s and continue to take it.

Then take whatever dose you feel comfortable with

Once your paranoia is calmed down, 0.5mg - 1mg every day or every other day is good whatever suits your circumstances and your pocket

not really paranoid of side effects just wanted to give my body time to adjust to it and maybe help reduce any shed or be able to catch side effects early if they DO happen. i've been taking it about 6 weeks EOD and took a week off because i noticed a slight pain from it but it went away.
