Few months ago I was combing my hair when I observed that my comb has hair when I comb near the cowlick area after a few days I tried plucking hair from different parts of my head and was unable to pluck from all parts except the cowlick area. I am scared, no one in my family is bald as of now my grandfather had thick hair and very good hairline till the age of 81 but after 82 his hair started thining near crown area and the bottom layer of hair also started thining same is happening with my father( he is 47 had thick hair till 45 but suddenly his hair at crown and the one below outer layer started thining but the thing is he is also a smoker and heavy drinker and has a very bad lifestyle) so I was thinking is the same happening with me at 21 ? Here is my photos

Look at the last photo - you hair is perfectly normal and healthy. Also, look how dark your hair is and light your scalp - huge contrast between the two. At the whorl and where cowlicks exist on the head and generally where the hair changes direction, scalp will be visible. This does not necessarily mean balding. Also stop plucking hair from your scalp, it is not good for your hair follicles.

Thanx for reply I really appreciate it. Yeah I will not pluck from now it was a kinda like a test I did to know if something is wrong. Also do you know any reason why my hair break mostly from cowlick when I am combing the hair ?

You're welcome. My hair breaks at the crown too - often because it is wet when I comb it and the hair tangles. Try brushing from back to front, it certainly seems to help me.
