Is it me or does hair look much thicker shorter ?

When I’ve had a haircut I find the thinness in the crown area is very difficult to spot …

Sometimes. It just depends on the individual hair type/color and the pattern of loss. Some people need to grow their hair out pretty long to look thicker, but for some people it looks thinner.

About 4-5 inches. I think mine looks best at an intermediate length.

Same . I find at 3-4 inches my hair looks thickest .

I notice my barber makes the hair around the crown shorter than the rest of my hair and I think this may be a technique to make the crown look thicker ? But who knows !

I won't buzz it again, regardless of recovering it naturally or not. Don't know how I went from this to what I have now in a mere span of a year.

When I used concealors it always looked better with short and even buzzed hair.
