Is It Me Or The Cut?

This is a strange question and i'm going to try my best to word it, because of the way my hair is cut when it is all forward you cannot see any scalp but when i push it all backwards i have to arrange it so you cannot see scalp through it.
FYI my hair is shorter at the back and longer at the front.
