After reading this forum a lot, I decided to take Finasterid. One week in, boom! I had my first panic attack. I don't know if it was related to the pill, since I was already filled with anxiety... I'm not complaining. Having that panic attack was a good thing because I was convinced that something was wrong with my heart, that I had a heart disease or something. Then all came back as panic disorder.

So I stopped taking the drug. Also, I was really surprised at myself to be considered as "genetically sensitive to DHT". Because my father has a lot more hair than I do at the age of 55 (I'm 20).

Recently I had my blood checked for anemia because I was getting dizzy when I got up from the couch. It seems that I have vitamin D and B12 deficiency. Which didn't surprise me, since I was usually indoors and I wasn't having the best diet out there.

Then while I was talking to my doctor, it came to my mind that certain vitamins (especially D) play a role in protecting your hair against thinning. And I asked "Doctor, with this level of deficiency, is it normal to have this kind of hairloss?" and showed my scalp. He said yes and prescribed some vitamin pills.

My Vitamin D level is : 17 ng/ml (minimum healthy amount is 30)
My Vitamin B12 level is: 95 pg/ml (minimum healthy amount is 125)

I also had a PRP session about 2-3 months ago. I don't know if it made any difference since I got a buzz hair cut.

So, just considering these results, without accounting for DHT, do you think it's normal for me to have lost this much of hair just because of Vitamin D and B12 deficiency?
(I'm not sure if B12 is essential for hair but just wanted to share just in case)

That really does look like genetic male pattern baldness. It follows the pattern and everything. I highly doubt fixing those deficiencies would lead to regrowth.

Vitamin D deficiency is a b**ch, I doubt it'll do anything about your hair but fix it ASAP. My friend developed insomnia and depression because of it.
