is it normal for hairs to fall out with the scabs

a scab fell off and all the implanted hairs were stuck to the scab. is this normal. btw im 4 weeks and 4 days post op and my scabs are mostly still there

Yes the hairs fall out but the follicles are still implanted and will produce more when they recover from the trauma of implanting and get back to normal hair growth cycle.
Ps the scabs should be gone by now try gently rubbing them it wont hard the grafts. (This and the waiting for growth is the worst stage) hang in there until Feb and you'll see some growth starting.

thank you for the reply. i also have one more question. In the area where the hairs have shed, is it supposed to look bald or is there supposed to be a sort of stubble look?

Well if the implanted hairs have shed then it'll look bald if not then it'll look like stubble, Your original hairs should remain. But its common for all the newly transplanted hairs to fall out and begin growing at around 3months.
