is it normal for loss to increase during menstration?

My hair loss is absolutely INSANE right now and im on my period. It's about 70 hairs when normally its less than 20. Is this normal???

I don't know if it's normal, but it makes sense. your hormones are different and you are loosing iron stores with the blood loss. I take a little extra iron during this time.
